I made this video for my personal blog (taking on The 18 most commonly used excuses, this particular one was the I’m not strong enough excuse), but it fits perfectly into work too. Strength is me. I am strong. I teach strength. I believe that women should and can train with heavy weights just like men (and not get bulky). No matter the size, don’t underestimate or let others underestimate your potential strength. People passing at the park are always first curious because of dads breathing performance, but they stop and watch my quiet conquering of bells they would never expect a ‘little girl’ to lift. This is a 45 lbs bell and I can’t tell you how much my form has improved in just the last year. Great exercise for hand eye coordination as well!
